Jabre Griffith, 18, of Baltimore, was arrested at an area high school and charged with multiple counts of murder for a pair of March shootings that left two dead and several others with serious injuries, authorities announced on Tuesday, June 13.

It is alleged that shortly after midnight on Thursday, March 23, Griffith is responsible for a shooting in the 2800 block of Edmondson Avenue that left five people between the ages of 15 and 24 hospitalized and beloved 33-year-old boxer Ernest Hall dead from his injuries.

Hall, a fixture in the Baltimore community, had been preparing for his next bout in New Jersey at the time he was shot and killed.

Approximately 24 hours later, just before 12:15 a.m. on Friday, March 24, Griffith has been accused of shooting Micah Strong, 26, and a 25-year-old woman in the 5400 block of York Road.

Strong later died from his injuries, police said.

Griffith was arrested at Dunbar High School without incident and charged with two counts of murder and six counts of attempted murder. No information about his next court appearance was announced by the police.
